History & legacy of Modulus
Modulus is a market research organization with proven deliverance and quality orientation. Known for its focus on process adherence and continuous improvement, the organization presently spreads across 16 locations across the country. Its battle hardened in-house team of 120 professionals, carrying cumulative experience of 1500 years, present a unique mix of experience and agility. With 1500 empanelled interviewers from all across the country under continuous guidance of this professional leadership, the field division stands un-rivalled in the subcontinent.
Modulus was born on 6th April 2018 with a band of hardcore market research professionals. This in fact is a new start for an age old legacy of excellence in quality and delivery. We are sole bearer of Mode’s legacy, an indigenous start-up in 80’s that flourished over time and shaped the industry in next three decades.
Modulus leadership team comprises of both veteran and young blood bound by strong value system and professionalism.
Modulus Research Division is based out of Delhi & Mumbai offices with a band of young talents working under senior leadership. Analysis Division is based out of Kolkata & Chennai and comprised of a pool of gifted data crunchers.

Tilak Choudhury
Managing Director
Tilak has close to four decades of experience in the Indian market research industry. He is one of the original members of Mode and is credited with creating industry-reputed field divisions and a strong work culture in his companies.
Pronab Mazumder
Deputy MD, National Field Head
Pronab started his research career in 1980 as a field investigator and he has risen through the ranks. He is credited with creating highly effective field teams. With strong resourcing and people skills, Pronab also looks after the field operations.
Irulappan Kannan
Director, National Head – Quality & Process
Kannan has spent about three decades in the operations division, and is credited with setting up ISO compliant processes. At Modulus, Kannan is responsible for setting up processes for delivering high quality with speed and efficiency.
Sandip Bhattacherya
Director, National Head – Scripting & Data Processing
With two decades in analysis divisions, Sandip comes with strong credentials of working on a plethora of analytical tools and in servicing global teams. A “thorough-details” person, he leads the scripting & analysis set-up at Modulus.
Debaprabho Bhattacharya
Director, National Head – Research
Debo has about two decades of experience as a researcher. Trained in many research techniques across various sectors, Debo is credited with bringing value to his research clients and is leading the research set-up at Modulus.
